Titus Matiyane (born 1964) is a self-taught sculptor, artist and musician. His giant, bird's-eye view panorama drawings of cities mesmerise and compel the viewer with the artist's idiosyncratic and visionary skill. His large-size panoramic landscape drawings explore an inexorable obsession with both the growth and the transformation of modern African cities and rural environments.
Matiyane lives and works in Atteridgeville, a township near Pretoria, South Africa.
